American Chemistry Council (ACC)

ACC is America’s oldest trade association, representing companies engaged in the business of chemistry. ACC is committed to sustainable development by fostering progress in the economy, environment and society.

The Chlorine Institute

The Chlorine Institute Inc. (CI) founded in 1924, is a trade association of companies involved in producing, distributing and using chlorine, sodium and potassium hydroxides, sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen chloride. CI’s mission is to promote continuous improvement of operational safety, security practices and emergency response within the chlor-alkali industry and its customers by promoting voluntary initiatives and regulatory programs.

Chemistry Industry Association of Canada

Formed in 1962, the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (formerly the Canadian Chemical Producers’ Association – CCPA) is the voice of Canada’s business of chemistry. Its internationally-recognized sustainability initiative Responsible Care® has become a benchmark for safe, responsible operations. The Association also works with governments and other groups to find solutions that benefit both Canadian society and the nation’s chemical industry.

CMAI

Formed in 1979, CMAI provides accurate, timely market & business advisory services for the worldwide chemical, plastics, fibers and chlor-alkali industries, including expert advice on chlor-alkali pricing.

RISI

Founded in 1985, RISI is a leading information provider for the global forest products industry. As it relates to Canexus’ business, RISI provides expert information on the global pulp and paper industry, the dominant consumer of sodium chlorate.
